Frequently asked questions
Is MediaKeep made by Telegram?
No. MediaKeep is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Telegram. It works with the Telegram Web app you already use in Chrome.
Do you see my messages or files?
No. Everything happens inside your browser. Media goes directly from Telegram Web to your Downloads folder. We never receive your chats, media, contacts or Telegram login.
Which versions of Telegram are supported?
Telegram Web at web.telegram.org, both the K and A versions, in Google Chrome and other Chromium browsers on desktop. The Telegram desktop and mobile apps are not supported.
How do I activate Pro?
After checkout your license key is shown on the receipt and emailed to you. Open the MediaKeep panel, choose "Activate Pro" and paste the key. One key works on up to three browsers.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the link in your receipt email, and keep Pro until the end of the paid period. If MediaKeep isn't right for you, ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
What happens when Telegram updates its website?
Telegram Web changes from time to time. We monitor it and ship fixes through the Chrome Web Store, which updates the extension automatically.
