Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 20, 2026

Short version: MediaKeep works entirely inside your browser. We never receive your Telegram messages, media, contacts or login. The only information that leaves your browser is your license key when you activate Pro, and the details you give Gumroad when you buy.

1. Who we are

MediaKeep ("we", "us") is an independent product based in the Republic of Korea. Contact: contact@randomlab.kr.

2. Data we do not collect

The extension reads the Telegram Web page only to find photos and videos and to save them to your device. It does not send to us or anyone else:

3. Data stored on your device

The extension stores a small amount of data in your browser's extension storage: your settings, free-plan usage counters and, if you upgrade, your license key and activation status. This data stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the extension.

4. Purchases and license checks

Purchases are handled by Gumroad, our Merchant of Record. When you buy, Gumroad collects your email address, billing country and payment details (and your name, if you provide it) under its privacy policy. We receive your email address, order details and license key from Gumroad so we can provide Pro and support. We never see your full card details. Gumroad is based in the United States, so this information is transferred to and processed in the US.

When you activate Pro, and periodically afterwards, the extension sends your license key to Gumroad's license API to confirm that the key is valid, the subscription is active and the browser limit has not been exceeded.

5. Website

To understand how many people visit, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, provided by Cloudflare, Inc. (United States). It collects only aggregate information such as the pages viewed, the referring site, the country, and the browser and device type, without cookies or device identifiers, and it does not identify or track individual visitors. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Google Ads measurement. We advertise MediaKeep on Google. To see which ads bring visitors, the pages of this website load the Google tag (gtag.js) from Google LLC (United States) for visitors outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. The tag may set cookies (such as _gcl_au) and send Google your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you visit and whether you arrived from one of our ads. We use this only to measure our ads. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are not served the tag. You can turn off personalized ads in My Ad Center, block or delete cookies in your browser, and read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Apart from Google's cookies above, the site sets one cookie, lang, only to remember the language you pick.

6. How we use and keep your data

We use purchase information only to deliver and support your license, to send receipts and important service notices, and to meet legal and tax obligations. We keep it while your license is active and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting laws require. We do not sell personal data.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to stop processing it, by emailing contact@randomlab.kr. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or Korea), you may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

8. Children

MediaKeep is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

9. Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a new date.
